Statement
My work begins with walking and allowing the city to interrupt me. I photograph quickly whatever draws me in like a magnet: doors, reflections, objects, people, and messages found along the way. I am interested in the boundaries between public and private space, between passing through and imagining that one could stay. I understand each photograph as an experiment in belonging and as an approach to a question that continues to run through my work: why do I feel that I do not belong? Photography is my way of trying to enter.
